As well as a reliable wrap-around service, Zen Havens offers a recovery  programme tailored to work with the service user based on their needs. We understand and acknowledge that each person who comes through our doors has a different recovery path and that no two individuals are the same which is why we strive to ensure we work towards achieving the best possible outcomes for those in our care.

From the management and administration of medication, to daily living skills such as cooking, household maintenance, budgeting, managing bills and assistance with understanding government forms. The individuals who stay with us are encouraged to develop their social skills through the group living experience and involvement in community activities whilst encouraging them to feel part of the group and able to own and build on their experiences. This is achieved through group and individual discussions, sharing experiences, helping each person respect the other, accepting responsibility for their actions, and providing therapeutic support as required.

This approach fosters a sense of belonging and empowerment among our service users, allowing them to gain confidence in their abilities and make meaningful connections with others regardless of the barriers faced. Additionally, staff members are in place to provide positive role models and are trained to promote independence by assisting individuals in acquiring essential life skills whilst stabilising their mental health conditions.

Planned, Emergency and Respite Placements

We understand that placements can be requested at any time and for that reason Zen Havens accepts planned and emergency placements to those in need of a reliable and trusted care and support service. Zen Havens aims to provide assistance to those in need of support by providing planned, emergency and respite placements within our supported living accommodations 24 hours a day, 365 day a year.

Referrals

Great care is taken to assess referrals in particular, any emergency referrals; to ensure the correct balance/matching within the existing group of residents is maintained. Zen Havens operates and is geared towards working with the service user, using the organisations, assessment, care planning and review system.
